American Caricature: Award Winning Documentary
In the last month, we've been notified of two award wins for American Caricature! Since we haven't been able to attend any film festivals this year, both came as surprises to us. First, we've been awarded Best Documentary at the 2020 Northeast Ohio International Film Festival. A few weeks later, we found out we won the Silver Award at the Spotlight International Documentary Awards. It's an honor to take home these awards and a nice way to end 2020 on a high note. Thank you to the organizers of both events and to the judges who found the film resonated with them in some way.
Going into 2021, we'd like to acknowledge what a challenging year 2020 has been. I'm guessing most people reading this don't need me to recount the broader details - but due to the pandemic, production on the companion film Glenn Ferguson: After the Storm has been slower than anticipated. We're moving the release deadline to late 2021. We also have a handful of Kickstarter rewards to deliver, and we are working on getting those out to backers as well.
Last, you can now rent or buy American Caricature directly from this site, regardless of region. Rentals will cost $2.99 and are available for 72 hours. Digital copies to purchase and download are now only $9.99. And as always, American Caricature is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in the US and UK. And if you are watching on Prime, please leave us a rating and a review!
Thank you all!
